NORWICH – Coming off a close win against Oneonta, the Norwich Purple Tornado golf team was back on their home course, hosting Chenango Valley. Norwich stayed hot with a 200-228 victory.

Brevin Bennett continues to excel for the Purple Tornado as he shot two-under par with a 34. Michael Brunick followed with a 40 as Matthew Brunick and Gavin Burrell both shot a 41. 

Jacob Lobdell, who is making great improvements, finished with a 44 and Charlie Smith with a 47*. 

Chenango Valley's scores ranged from a low 41 to a high 49.

Norwich (5-0) heads to Sus Valley on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
